Divide the vial strength by the bacteriostatic water added. A 10 mg vial with 2 mL of water is 5 mg/mL.
Divide the target amount by the concentration. 0.5 mg at 5 mg/mL is 0.1 mL.
Multiply the volume in mL by 100. 0.1 mL is 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe.

How do I calculate peptide dosage in syringe units?
Divide the vial strength in milligrams by the milliliters of bacteriostatic water to get concentration in mg/mL. Divide your target amount by that concentration to get the draw volume in mL, then multiply by 100 for units on a U-100 insulin syringe.
How much bacteriostatic water should I add to a peptide vial?
Any volume works mathematically — the water only changes concentration, not the total milligrams in the vial. Most people pick a volume that puts a typical draw between 10 and 50 units so the measurement is easy to read. Enter different water volumes above to compare.
What is a U-100 insulin syringe unit?
On a U-100 syringe, 100 units equals 1.0 mL, so 1 unit is 0.01 mL. The calculator reports units on that scale, which is the marking used on standard insulin syringes.
How many doses are in my vial?
Divide the total milligrams in the vial by your target amount per draw. A 10 mg vial drawn at 0.5 mg yields 20 draws regardless of how much water was added.
